Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries is a cinematic fairy tale platformer for PC, full of drama and dark twists. Step into the boots of a vengeful Red Riding Hood. This game is a well-balanced cocktail of three successful gameplay ingredients: some good old-fashioned action platforming on a 2.5D playground, fun combo-based hack ‘n slash combat (against some pretty deranged fairy tale enemies) and rewarding environment puzzles (exploring the beautiful sceneries to the max).Set in an attractive fantasy universe and topped off with a surprising take on the Red Riding Hood tale as you know it, Woolfe promises an entertaining, aesthetic experience. This game concept from Grin has spawned many fan art - and they created a special Fan Art Contest blog page on their website

An animated short film about a man's collapsing sanity, featuring the voices of Paul Giamatti, Jason Mantzoukas, and Kate McKinnon GIANT SLOTH is a surrealist tale drawing as much on influences like Fellini and (the main character's namesake) Luis Buñuel as it does animation from the 1960s and 70s. I backed this Kickstarter project on the basis of Paul Giamatti starring. He is one of my favourite actors and he has deadpan humour. The Story The museum where Gordon Boonewell works - The Benchley Museum of Cultural and Natural History - has fallen on hard times. Attendance is down and they've been in the red for ages. So it's no surprise when the museum privatizes... no surprise to anyone other than Gordon. But Gordon is a curator of the past, a man set in his ways. Ways that are being systematically erased, dumping him into a world he's willfully ignored. Unable to cope with the upheaval alone, Gordon begins to suffer hallucinations. Or at least he hopes they're hallucinations... About Scandinavia and the World: It started in 2009 by the artist known as Humon, a comical look at how countries humanise one another and has grown to over 300 comic strips. About the Animations:
Scandinavia and the World will be brought to life in these funny, thoughtful, and somewhat educational animations, voiced by Stanton Nichols (and others) and beautifully animated by Stephen Leotti. On their website and YouTube channel Imagine building your own world and inhabit them with your own people. Play like a god over a universe with many worlds. Imagine Civ5 on steroids and Galaxy Trader mixed with Sim City building strategy. All in one game? - Well.. here it is .. it is called The Universim The Universim is a next generation Planet Management God - Game in development by Crytivo Games and designed by Alex Koshelkov.
The Universim aims to unleash you upon the universe with the powers of a god to begin forging your galactic empire in the stars. The ability to play as a god gives you unparalleled power, but unlike other god-games, you cannot interact directly with your population in the game. However, you can influence their decisions and change the way in which your civilization evolves. It is up to you to decide which technology path they follow and what kind of research they undertake-you have the power to shape their future. Instead of taking control of a static game world that awaits your every command, life will go on as you would expect. You are effectively taking control of a living simulation. Call me nostalgic, old fashioned or retro.. I don't care. I have a weak spot for pixelated fanatsy games, Castlevania, Zelda, Metroid.. early Final Fantasy. I just lap it up. So when I saw the Heart Forth, Alica project on Kickstarter I knew this was my chance to play part in developing one of those (in my mind) epic games. "Heart Forth, Alicia".. ..is a '90s-inspired Metroidvania RPG about a young wizard on her journey to stop a Spirit from consuming her homeland.
At Heart Forth, Alicia's core is an ode to the classics. Remember the electrifying gameplay of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, the expansive worlds of the Zelda games, and the rich, engaging story of Xenogears? This game is crafted in the spirit of those great adventures of the '90s. The story unfolds amidst the repercussions of centuries worth of struggle, strife, and bloodshed between cultures, races and worldviews. But above all else, it's an epic Metroidvania RPG that combines timeless 16- and 32-bit gameplay, modern mechanics, and a set of unique, intertwining stories to take you on a fantastic journey A digital card and board game of heroes and high-adventure set in the fairy-tale animal kingdom of Armello! As computer and video games go; this game 'Armello' is awesome! - You get to play animal human hybrids in a medieval setting. I saw this project on kickstarter and just had to back it, because I want to play it, so bad! The King, once Armello's wise and benevolent ruler, has fallen ill to a dark and mysterious force known only as the Rot. Slowly eating his body and soul, the Rot twists him deeper and deeper into madness. In response, Armello's Great Clans have called forth their Heroes to claim the throne of Armello; and this is where you start your adventure, Hero As a 'Hero' from one of the Great Clans of Armello, you'll quest, scheme, explore, vanquish monsters, perform the Mad King's royal edicts and face off against other players with one ultimate end goal in mind — storming the palace and becoming king or queen of Armello! There's no boring down time in Armello. After you hit the 'End Turn' button you'll be busy equipping items, recruiting followers and purchasing talents in your hero's unique talent tree. Maybe you're playing cards to the board as Perils for other heroes to stumble into or perhaps you're playing cards to strike up temporary allegiances... they're always temporary.
Nikola Tesla was one of the smartest people in history. You can find his discoveries in your lights, computer, TV, radio, cell phone, hair dryer, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, car… even in the satellite that transmit this message to you... but still he is unknown to many people. He dedicated his life to the well-being of humanity, trying to make life on earth better for all and always emphasized the importance of environmental protection ... more than a century ago.
