This film project on Kickstarter is a fan film. They are placing the predator in to the Dark Ages - With Knight Templars The film follows a group of war-torn Templar knights who have returned from the Eastern lands, back to England, only to find that the enemy is now a lot closer and a lot more deadly than before. Throughout time the Predator has always looked for the greatest warriors to fight in battle, and with this short film we will see him put to the test against the some of the best history has ever seen, the Templar Knights.
Their battle with the Predator is the thing Myths and Legends are made of. Call me nostalgic, old fashioned or retro.. I don't care. I have a weak spot for pixelated fanatsy games, Castlevania, Zelda, Metroid.. early Final Fantasy. I just lap it up. So when I saw the Heart Forth, Alica project on Kickstarter I knew this was my chance to play part in developing one of those (in my mind) epic games. "Heart Forth, Alicia".. ..is a '90s-inspired Metroidvania RPG about a young wizard on her journey to stop a Spirit from consuming her homeland.
At Heart Forth, Alicia's core is an ode to the classics. Remember the electrifying gameplay of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, the expansive worlds of the Zelda games, and the rich, engaging story of Xenogears? This game is crafted in the spirit of those great adventures of the '90s. The story unfolds amidst the repercussions of centuries worth of struggle, strife, and bloodshed between cultures, races and worldviews. But above all else, it's an epic Metroidvania RPG that combines timeless 16- and 32-bit gameplay, modern mechanics, and a set of unique, intertwining stories to take you on a fantastic journey
Mythica is an epic fantasy following the exploits of Marek, a slave girl destined to be a great wizard, and her team of adventurers. A Quest for Heroes Stuck in a life of indentured servitude, Marek dreams of becoming a wizard. When she meets a beautiful priestess, Teela, in need of help, Marek escapes her master and puts together a team of adventurers - including Thane the warrior and Dagen the half-elf thief – and embarks on an epic quest to free Teela’s sister from orcs and ogres. After raiding the orc camp, the group learns that Teela’s sister has been taken into the mountains by a giant ogre. Escaping hellhounds and dragons on their dangerous journey, the team find themselves hopelessly outmatched by the man-eating ogre, and must unite all their talents to free the prisoners and escape with their own lives. Nicola Posener plays Teela, a priestess of the Order of Ana-Sett. Arrowstorm fans will recognize her from her starring role in Dawn of the Dragonslayer, while she has also starred in several British films and TV series, including Disney's House of Anubis. We're a small group of independent filmmakers who love making movies, and have been at it for about a decade. It's our full-time job, and every film we have made has received worldwide distribution. We do pretty much everything ourselves, from conception to financing to production to securing distribution. We love fantasy and science fiction and know there's others out there like us, who we aim to please. |
