I am on a break!
Due to many funds transferred to strangers' hands, and a depleting bank account, I am now sitting back and wait for all of my investment to come to fruition. I cancelled the Orion4 Sunglasses Project as I already have plenty of sunglasses - I don't need 'bragging rights' to own the best pair of sunglasses in the world. (Which they totally are btw!) - I also think that with the sheer amount of board games and video games in development I am going to be satisfied for a long time to come.
I am on a break!

Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries is a cinematic fairy tale platformer for PC, full of drama and dark twists. Step into the boots of a vengeful Red Riding Hood. This game is a well-balanced cocktail of three successful gameplay ingredients: some good old-fashioned action platforming on a 2.5D playground, fun combo-based hack ‘n slash combat (against some pretty deranged fairy tale enemies) and rewarding environment puzzles (exploring the beautiful sceneries to the max).Set in an attractive fantasy universe and topped off with a surprising take on the Red Riding Hood tale as you know it, Woolfe promises an entertaining, aesthetic experience. This game concept from Grin has spawned many fan art - and they created a special Fan Art Contest blog page on their website Introducing Snaplaces: discover a simple, yet brilliant design that makes traditional shoelaces a thing of the past. There's been very little innovation with shoelaces simply because most people don't give much thought to tying their shoes. Get the SNAP BACKER reward + two sets (4 Clips + 4 Laces) of the Kickstarter funded SNAPLACES 2.0. Faster to lace, easier to clip, and a super sleek design. The ultimate in fit! With multiple clips you can precisely adjust the tension on the laces to meet your needs.
THE PROJECT - David Lloyd This project compromises nearly seven years of photography in East Africa, collating the best of those images to sixty, with an even split between black & white and colour. I will receive a 25 page e-book lite version of the book plus a hi-res desktop wallpaper of one of the images appearing in the book. Born Free
A percentage of the sales of the book will be donated to Born Free, a charity dedicated to the cause of keeping wildlife in the wild, rescuing vulnerable animals from lives of misery in tiny cages, and halting the race to extinction by protecting rare species in their natural habitat. I just signed up for Jumpkick. This is a service that will alert me on a daily basis with a digest of the most happening Kickstarter projects out there. Kickstarter backers are learning by experience that Kickstarter is not a store. You are taking a risk: Maybe the product isn’t what you wanted, maybe it takes forever, maybe it’s obsolete by the time it comes out, maybe it doesn’t come out.
Kickstarter, from a creator’s perspective as well, is not a store; your would-be backers are not your customers but your investors. RISE is a short Sci-Fi film by David Karlak about a robot revolution in the future, told from the perspective of the robots. The short film stars Anton Yelchin (Star Trek Into Darkness, Terminator Salvation) and Rufus Sewell (Dark City, Hercules), who both deliver exceptional performances. The screenplay is written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton (Pacific Rim, God of War). Because RISE was shot over the span of over a year, several talented cinematographers have worked on RISE. They include, Roman Vasyanov, Sam McCurdy, Perry Ho and Chris Probst. The visual effects are being supervised by Scott Metzger. In the near future, sentient robots are targeted for elimination after they develop emotional symmetry to humans and a revolutionary war for their survival begins. Basically, RISE is a movie that flips the man v. machine trope on it's head. It's a movie about a robot uprising and revolution, but told from the point-of-view of the robots. Imagine The Arab Spring with robots. The short film has been a passion project that has relied heavily on friends and favors to get it to where it is today. RISE was shot in piecemeal fashion since early 2013. They transformed skid row in Downtown Los Angeles into a robot slum, built a robot tenement set, and then trekked halfway across the world to wrap up production with a guerrilla shoot in Beijing, China!
A dark psychological horror by young filmmakers. A woman loses her grip on reality after discovering that she could be capable of evil. WOLF is a short psychological horror film set in a hotel in the 1980’s. A group of university students are left reeling when their closest friend is attacked by an unknown person in the middle of the night, leaving her permanently scarred by the experience. The friends try their best to track down the culprit themselves, but are frustrated when they find that they cant remember what happened due to the amount of alcohol they consumed the night before. However, there’s one person…. Alice- pure hearted, god-fearing and kind, who starts having very strange dreams… in which she sees herself hurting her closest friend, and in even stranger dreams, sees herself turning into a wolf. We follow Alice as she struggles comes to terms with the fact that she might have betrayed the people closest to her, and finds her mind deteriorating as the wolf inside her takes over...
A microbudget and some headline grabbers. This is a indie film project that will possibly be in need of something.."je ne sais quoi" However for $2 I am promised a full HD Download. Wacka Wacka.. A sexy killer nun who's on a mission to slaughter a malicious religious cult and save the Mother Superior of her diocese.
The film maker is raising day by day microbudgets of $100 each time to continue shooting the film. There will be more coming! Here is the latest Kickstarter. In Tavern Brawl, each player chooses 5 character classes (considered units) which make up their very own adventuring party. The Tavern (game board) is created using modular tiles that can be arranged in many ways. Obstacles are placed throughout the tavern. Every turn players may activate up to three of their Units. When activated, a Unit can move, punch, or use its unique power. When a Unit receives wounds equal to its Life value it's defeated, and removed from play. The first player to defeat the others Units wins the game!
They have set an expected delivery date of December 2014
A home invasion indie horror feature film set in a grand country house in the idyllic East Sussex countryside.I like low budget, indie films. This 2050 FILMS project is another example of some young and enthousiastic film makers who, with the right ideas, talent and equipment are very able to create a decent feature film. The "House Invasion" theme of strangers breaking into a house and terrorising the inhabitants is very current (possibly even a little tired at this point). think Panic Room, You're Next, Key Largo and of course Black Christmas. The Story Sam and her friends are terrorised during a gathering at her isolated house by three young men after something more than the girls.
Sam, the daughter of world-renowned artist Martha Templeton, invites three friends to join her for the night when she is left home alone. One of the girls brings her boyfriend and his two close friends and it quickly becomes apparent that a much more sinister plan is being hatched as, what starts off as a mysterious teen horror quickly mutates into a tension filled horror heist with unpredictable twists around every corner and climaxes with one message; what goes around comes around. |
